Our Technology
The Dance Base Support
The patent applied Dance Base Support is designed to support the heel and arch, and to offer optimal assistance to the foot when working or resting. It encourages alignment awareness and provides a controlled resistance to the intrinsic muscles of the foot.
In simple terms this means the shoe will remind the dancer to stop rolling (pronating) and will help build muscle strength. Available in MDM ballet, jazz and dance sneakers.
The Reflex Contour
The Reflex Contour is a responsive stretch panel that’s built into the mid-section of the shoe. It allows the shoe to dynamically expand and contract with the dancer's foot, while maintaining fit and aesthetics at all times. Available in MDM ballet and jazz shoes.

Alexa has had the opportunity to work with some of Australia's leading dance companies in Australia which began with the Australian Ballet company before she joined Sydney Dance Company under the artistic directorship of Graeme Murphy.
Alexa understands all too well the significance of injury prevention in a young dancers journey after suffering an ankle injury that resulted in a premature end to her career.

Veronica Mahon

In 1996 Veronica won the Gold Medal at the Genee Awards and joined the Australian Ballet Company in 2000. She has also performed with Ballet Ireland, Dublin, The Atlantic Southeast Ballet Company and Sydney Dance Company. Recently, Veronica has been teaching and choreographing at the Marie Walton- Mahon Dance Academy and National College.
